WHAT ARE MINI SESSIONS?
Mini sessions are exclusive smaller package offerings available on select days during the seasons of the year: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Christmas holidays.
Our chosen locations are thoughtfully selected, boasting excellent lighting and seasonal landscapes. These spots are easily accessible, even for the littlest members of your family. Please note that exact location details may be provided a few days before the session, as some of these unique locations are privately owned.
A mini session is perfect for families of up to 5 members (and well-trained doggies are warmly invited too!).
Mini session’s are ideal if you are:
- after just a few images which will be ready to display in your own frames at home
- trying an outdoor session for the first time
- wanting more regular professional photos
- a busy family after a lively session

WILL THE SESSION FEEL RUSHED?
Not at all! With years of experience running portrait sessions, I’ve perfected a gentle and streamlined routine that ensures you won’t feel rushed or like you’re on a conveyor belt with other families. I also build in some wiggle room between sessions in case anyone needs a last-minute nappy change or emergency snack break during the session.
WHAT IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF OUR SESSION?
I always ask families to keep a backup mini session date available, which I’ll inform you about at the time of booking. The day before your session, I check the weather forecast and will contact you if it looks unpleasant for the photoshoot. In case of heavy rain (and extreme heatwaves too!), we will reschedule the session. If it’s just a light drizzle, the session can still proceed. Otherwise, I offer you the option of a rescheduled date or a refund if you can’t reschedule within a 6-month period.
WHAT IF MY TODDLER DOESN’T WANT TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED?
As a parent myself and having worked with countless toddlers, I understand the playful nature of little ones. My sessions are designed to be fun and light-hearted, and I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to engage and capture beautiful moments even if your toddler isn’t initially camera-ready. Rest assured, I’ll make it work!
