MINI SESSIONS
Thanks for registering your interest in my Mini Sessions!
Here is some important information for you to read before booking:
The location will change varying on the season and session type. Booking is first come, first served through the booking site (as long as payment is made you can secure your preferred slot), there are no guarantees of placement, as session spaces are limited per day, although I will do whatever I can to accommodate everyone.
Sometimes it may be necessary to add another day to the sessions, in which I will notify clients online beforehand.
Please ensure you can transport yourselves to the location, as transport will not be provided.
Time slots are in 30 minute intervals with a 20 minute actual imaging time. Dates will be announced within (at least) 4 weeks of the next mini session, stay tuned to the social media. Like and subscribe to get up to date information on the latest sessions when they arise.
Booking Site: https://bertievictorphotography.pixieset.com/booking
Facebook: www.Facebook.com/BertieVictorPhotography
Instagram: www.Instagram.com/BertieVictorPhotography
On the day of the session, I would urge you to be there at your allocated time (or a few minutes before) so we can use the time effectively. You will have a few minutes at the start of the session to get yourself ready for your professional portraits. Once you have had your photos you can leave and carry on with your day! I will email you within three weeks a gallery link (password protected) for you to view, download and buy any additional prints from.
Please wear anything you like to your mini session! If you want to get dressed up in your Friday night best, then please do. Likewise if you want to wear a costume, that’s fine! You choose the outfits and come as you want to be photographed. I would normally recommend NOT having slogans or text, brand imagery or logos on clothing, as it’s usually a distraction from the subject, YOU!
I have a dedicated blog post for each of my Mini Sessions that has guidelines for what to wear (and what NOT to!), so please check out the blog area of the site for more information.
Note: For outdoor portrait sessions I suggest you dress according to the conditions while getting to and from each location, as it may be hot or cold depending on the time of year!
If you have pets you want to include (no tigers!) then bring them along, as long as you know you can control them effectively for the duration, or have someone to control them with you. Please be reasonable with this as I wont allow 20 dogs, a parrot and an alley full of cats to attend your session! One or two well behaved pets are fine (for outdoor location sessions only – some of the studio sessions are in areas that may not be accommodating to animals for health reasons).
To book your mini session please first go to my booking site and follow the instructions to choose your time slot, make payment directly for the full session (first come first served basis), or by visiting the contact form on the website you can ask me questions directly if unsure on how to proceed.
For family mini sessions you may recieve a questionnair once booking is complete, which will give you the opportunity to add any details that may be relevant to your session. Please provide your full name, and names of all who will be photographed during your mini session. Your address and contact information (phone & email) are required also but kept confidential.
You can pay the full amount via Paypal or all major bank cards through the booking site. Please contact for more details if unsure.
Please note the full amount paid is non refundable unless weather or unforeseen circumstances stop the session(s) before it/they start. In the event of sudden cancellation I will do my best to reschedule the session(s) as conveniently as possible – a refund will be a last resort if we cannot reschedule.
I’m fully insured for each session with a complete policy by Morgan Richardson Ltd including liability insurance, and I am fully DBS checked and certified to work with children.
I can’t wait to meet you at your mini session!

Christmas Market Raffle prize draws
The raffle prize draws will be done through the Facebook page, and all decisions are final. The Christmas market prize draw includes a full family session which is a one hour shoot for up to 6 people. Location is to be discussed, and I have plenty of areas available within the North West to accommodate this type of session. Images will be delivered in a private online gallery for you to choose your favourite 25 images from the complete gallery. Additional images and prints are available directly within your gallery and are charged at standard rates. Winners will be notified by phone or message. In the result of no one claiming their prize, the prize will be redrawn. The session prize must be booked for sometime in 2024 (and dates available will be discussed with winners). I will endeavour to make all draws fair and impartial.
1. DEFINITIONS
For the purpose of this agreement “the Client” and “the Advertiser” shall where the context so admits include their respective assignees, sub-licensees and successors in title. In cases where the Photographer’s client is a direct client (i.e. with no Client or intermediary), all references in this agreement to both “the Client” and “the Advertiser” shall be interpreted as references to the Photographer’s client. “Photographs” means all photographic material created and presented by the Photographer, whether transparencies, negatives, prints or any other type of physical or electronic material including digital files in multiple formats. This document may be altered at any time.
2. COPYRIGHT
The entire copyright in the Photographs is retained by the Photographer at all times. This applies worldwide in all jurisdictions.
3. OWNERSHIP OF MATERIALS
Title to all Photographs remains the property of the Photographer unless otherwise agreed in contract.
4. USE
The Licence to use comes into effect from the date of payment of the relevant invoice(s). No use may be made of the Photographs before payment in full of the particular invoice(s) without the Photographer’s express permission. Any permission which may be given for prior use will automatically be revoked if full payment is not made by the due date or if the Client is put into receivership or liquidation. The Licence only applies to the advertiser and product as stated on the front of the form and its benefit shall not be assigned to any third party without the Photographer’s permission. Accordingly, even where any form of ‘all media’ Licence is granted, the photographer’s permission must be obtained before any use of the Photographs for other purposes eg use in relation to another product or sub-licensing through a photo-library. Permission to use the Photographs for purposes outside the terms of the Licence will normally be granted upon payment of a further fee, which must be mutually agreed (and paid in full) before such further use. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all further Licences in respect of the Photographs will be subject to these terms and conditions.
5. PROMOTIONAL USE
The Photographer retains the right in all cases to use the Photographs in any manner at any time and in any part of the world for the purposes of advertising or otherwise promoting his/her work. After the exclusivity period indicated in the Licence to Use the Photographer shall be entitled to use the Photographs for any purposes.
6. INDEMNITY
The Photographer shall only be responsible for obtaining clearances for third party copyright works, trade marks, designs or other intellectual property if this has been expressly agreed before the shoot. In all other cases the Client shall be responsible for obtaining such clearances and will indemnify the Photographer against all expenses, damages, claims and legal costs arising out of any failure to obtain such clearances.
7. PAYMENT
Payment by the Client will be expected for the commissioned work within 30 days of the issue of the relevant invoice. If the invoice is not paid, in full, within 30 days. The Photographer reserves the right to charge interest at the rate prescribed by the Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act 1998 from the date payment was due until the date payment is made.
8. EXPENSES
Where extra expenses or time are incurred by the Photographer as a result of alterations to the original brief by the Client, Agency or Advertiser, or otherwise at their request, the Client shall be liable to pay such extra expenses or fees at the Photographer’s normal rate to the Photographer in addition to the expenses shown overleaf as having been agreed or estimated.
9. REJECTION
Unless a rejection fee has been agreed in advance, there is no right to reject on the basis of style or composition of images produced, edited and delivered.
10. CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT
A booking is considered firm as from the date of confirmation. If a rescheduled session cannot be arranged due to Photographer’s fault, then a refund may be arranged. Sessions booked and confirmed are non-refundable deposits. Please contact Bertie Victor for more information or questions.
11. STORAGE OF PHOTOGRAPHS
Upon receipt of Photographs, the Client accepts all responsibility for archiving and protecting the photographs. Photographer does not permanently archive image files. The Photographer is not responsible for the lifespan of any digital media provided or for any future changes in digital technology or media readers that might result in an inability to read files provided. It is the responsibility of the Client to make sure that digital files are copied to new media as required.
12. RIGHT TO A CREDIT
The Photographer asserts the right to be credited as the author of the Photos in accordance with sections 77 and 79 of Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Any unauthorised reproduction of any Photos will constitute a breach of copyright.
13. LIABILITY
Our entire liability for any breach of this Agreement or any representation, act or omission (including negligence) shall be limited to our fee in relation to the Photo Services and we shall not be responsible for any special, indirect or consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses. The limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that Photos are lost through equipment malfunction, are lost in the mail or otherwise lost or damaged where the Photographer is not liable.
14. APPLICABLE LAW
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales.
15. VARIATION
If these Terms and Conditions change we will make that clear on our wesbite. Please read these periodically to be up-to-date on how we operate. Thank you.
